Hello all,
There has been renewed interest in groups in European timezones to
attend a common CarpetX call.
Unfortunately the current time (Thu 3pm Chicago time) is almost
impossible for any EU time zone participants to attend (10pm at night
for Central European Time).
So, I would like to try and see if we can find any time that would work
for both Pacific coast and European participants.
This essentially means to start the call:
* no earlier than 10am Chicago time (8am Pacific time)
* no later than 1pm Chicago time (8pm Central European time)
So with this in mind, could I ask all to please update
https://crab.fit/carpetx-meeting-475566
and indicate any possible time that they could make it (before 1pm
Chicago time), please?
Since we are so many different groups please only block times that you
really, never will be able to make it. Eg a meeting with your dean or
when you have to teach or when you attend the single most important of
your LIGO meetings. But do *not* block slots where you have a "movable"
meeting eg a meeting with a single local postdoc at your institution or
with the same group of people that you meet in the current CarpetX
meeting (since those meetings can then be swapped).
I will try and get everybody into a single call to sort out the final.
That call likely would be Monday 11am Central time next week (Zach
should only start to teach next semester, and maybe Jay will be able to
make it).
Yours,
Roland
