 This (and others) are utilities that are built by thorn HDF5 if it builds
 the bundled HDF5 library. I guess it should not try to do so if the
 bundled HDF5 library is not built.

 One way to implement this is to remember in a configuration variable
 whether the bundled HDF5 library has been built, and if not so, to not
 copy these files from the HDF5 install directory into the Cactus utility
 directory.
