 On some systems, one can use ssh to access compute nodes if one has a job
 running there (e.g. on Longhorn at TACC). In this case, Simfactory can
 submit a regular job executing a sleep command, can poll (every minute)
 whether the job is running, and if so, log in to the corresponding compute
 node.

 As suggested above, this mechanism is even necessary on some systems
 (Longhorn), where no other interactive access to compute nodes is
 possible.
