 I agree that it would be nice to find a solution to the unwieldy test
 suites problem, but that is a separate issue and should probably be
 discussed in a new ticket. My suggestion is for addressing the original
 issue (and reason this ticket was kept open) of VCS directories being
 copied with test-suite data.
