 usual problem: I do not have write permission to the simfactory repository
 (either one).
 I tested them when running the testsuites on zwicky. That is the extend of
 the testing done. Though since this is a caltech internal machine, the
 impact of errors should be small.
 I am thus perfectly fine to wait to ask someone to please apply only after
 the new repository comes online. :-)
