 Frank, does LDAP work now? Can this repository be accessed?

 Adding a thorn to the ET requires a public discussion, and this is
 unlikely unless there is a compelling use case for this thorn. I suggest
 to have this thorn available in an svn repository, but only add it to the
 official ET thorn list when it is being used by multiple groups.
