 I have tested that reverting this commit makes the tests pass again.  The
 attached patch is the revert.  I don't have commit access to this thorn.
 The thorn's maintainer is listed in the README as Jonathan Thornburg.
 Please can someone with commit rights commit this patch to
 https://svn.aei.mpg.de/numrel/AEIThorns/AEILocalInterp/trunk.
