 Yes, setting MPI_DIR=NO_BUILD and MPI_INC_DIRS=<something> is fine. Of
 course, you can also set MPI_DIR=some_dummy_dir, and for all practical
 purposes, this is the same as setting MPI_DIR=NO_BUILD. The only
 difference is that NO_BUILD is a common dummy value, so that people know
 what this means.
