Traditionally, we have not included statements like these in source code.
Apart from the difficulty of removing these again (when is it safe to do
so?), the question is whether the compiler bug would also miscompile other
parts of the code.
The preferred approach is to not use this compiler version, or to
determine a lower optimisation setting that makes this compiler still
usable. This information would be encoded in Simfactory. Obviously this
bug would also be reported to Intel, so that they can correct it.
