Comment (by eschnett):

 The "correct" thing is (1) to confirm that LGPL is a valid licence for
 this code, and then (2) to remove this licence note, so that the flesh's
 licence will cover this code as well (see Cactus/COPYRIGHT).

 It's not quite the LGPL, but it's veryvery similar, and should probably be
 replaced by the LGPL, but that's for another time.
