 For more information on the property please see
 http://www.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/doc/RM/RM_H5G.html in section "Group
 implementations in HDF5". The new format also does away with size
 restrictions for attributes so that the large attribute code in Carpet is
 no longer required (see
 http://www.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/doc/UG/13_Attributes.html#SpecIssues).
