 The intel compilers accept -rdynamic, and although not easy to find in
 their documentation, it is mentioned at least in one place:
 https://software.intel.com/sites/products/documentation/doclib/iss/2013/compiler
 /cpp-lin/

 Now, this is not saying that we should not change this. The Intel compiler
 probably only accepts it for compatibility reasons. I assume you tried to
 change it and it worked for you?
