 It turns out that we probably need a similar fix also for clients that
 happen to not have updated root certs. Thus, I propose to make this change
 a little more general: in addition to disabling cert-checking and/or
 explicitly specifying the ca cert when this fails on OSX, do this on all
 systems where this fails - if the problem occurs with servers we know can
 fail. We can either hardcode these servers in GetComponents, or add
 something to the thornlist.
