OK, well, if it compiled without the 1.0 -> 1 auto conversion, then I
guess I don't remember what motivated me to make it work this way.
I'm not sure what you mean by "small errors making the test ineffective."
My comment about booleans, btw, is that "true" and "false" aren't
obviously 1 and 0 (at least not to me). It is in C, of course. For the
shell, however, 0=true, non-zero=error code.
In the end, however, I also don't have a strong opinion about this. :)
