Comment (by hinder):

 Do the Intel constraints look OK if you disable as much optimisation as
 possible?  e.g. -O0, possibly -fp-model source.  Intel 17 seems to be a
 bit dodgy still.  Do you get the same problems with earlier versions of
 Intel?
