 The missing ident program is rather simple:
 http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/rcs.git/tree/src/ident.c basically it
 extracts strings (even from binary files) of the form "$keyword: " and "
 $", its also under GPL so we can in principle include a copy in the
 LORENE2 thorn if we like to do so.
