 I did (the original proposer). I noticed that I had forgotten to sign in
 so it showed up as anonymous but could not figure out how to retroactively
 change the "closer".

 Are you saying you would actually champion this patch :-) Or just not sure
 who goes around closing tickets?

 It is being closed explicitly since there has been no review and it is not
 high enough on my list of priorities that I would be willing to fight for
 it (it also is a bit hackish since one has to know about LaTeX internals
 to make it work and parse .tex files in perl).
