<p>A good alternative to ygraph is pygraph: <a href="https://bitbucket.org/dradice/pygraph/overview" rel="nofollow" class="ap-connect-link">https://bitbucket.org/dradice/pygraph/overview</a></p>
<p>It is developed by David Radice (AEI), it is based on python and it can open Carpet AMR ASCII data files without problems. Maybe a link to it should be added to the cactus visualization page.</p>

<p>As of r486 of <a href="http://svn.cactuscode.org/www/" rel="nofollow" class="ap-connect-link">http://svn.cactuscode.org/www/</a> the Cactus website lists pyGraph.</p>
<p>pyGraph was added to <a href="https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/index.php?title=Analysis_and_post-processing" rel="nofollow" class="ap-connect-link">https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/index.php?title=Analysis_and_post-processing</a></p>
