<p>hwloc has been updated to 1.11.12 <a data-is-external-link="true" href="https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/tickets/issues/2221/update-hwloc-to-11112" rel="nofollow">https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/tickets/issues/2221/update-hwloc-to-11112</a> SystemTopology supports version 2 as of <a data-is-external-link="true" href="https://bitbucket.org/cactuscode/cactusutils/commits/009d0a3100d3e29ec0efd6379e95aeccc930d3f3" rel="nofollow">https://bitbucket.org/cactuscode/cactusutils/commits/009d0a3100d3e29ec0efd6379e95aeccc930d3f3</a> but hwloc 2 is not compatible with hwloc 1. Currently hwloc 1.11.13 (June 2019) is the very newest version of hwloc.</p>
<p>MPI could be updated to 2.X or 3.X since 1.X is no longer supported. See <a data-is-external-link="true" href="https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/tickets/issues/2180/openmpi-tarball-in-externallibaries-mpi-is" rel="nofollow">#2180</a>.</p>
