<p>I would suggest removing <code>--static</code> as Zach pointed out. Most clusters these days actually do use dynamic linking. Also, at least as far as I am concerned, the automatisms in ExternalLibraries are for workstations. For clusters we create individual option lists anyway where we can add the extra libraries required to link statically.</p>
