<p>there is now (git hash <a data-is-external-link="true" href="https://bitbucket.org/cactuscode/cactus/commits/b7b66f02eb94cc53b264951eac49e8218a655c04" rel="nofollow">b7b66f02</a> "Cactus: introduce single presync_mode parameter to code" of <a data-is-external-link="true" href="https://bitbucket.org/cactuscode/cactus" rel="nofollow">cactus</a>) a single keyword parameter <code>presync_mode</code> which avoids this issue.</p>
