<p>Found it. It’s the Silo library <a data-is-external-link="true" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silo_(library)" rel="nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silo_(library)</a> which I use in CarpetX for 3D output. There hasn’t been a new Silo release in a rather long time, and it doesn’t work with HDF5 &gt;1.10.</p>
<p>That’s probably not relevant for most ET users. It’s still easily possible to install a different HDF5 version manually. I have no objections to updating HDF5 in the ET.</p>
