<p>In the 2012_11 <a data-is-external-link="true" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Christian_%C3%98rsted" rel="nofollow">Ørsted</a> <a data-is-external-link="true" href="http://einsteintoolkit.org/about/releases/ET_2012_11_announcement.html" rel="nofollow">release</a> the support_old_CalcTmunu_mechanism was deprecated <a href="https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/tickets/issues/1105/tmunubase-support_old_calctmunu_mechanism" rel="nofollow" title="TmunuBase::support_old_CalcTmunu_mechanism to "no" and remove after release" class="ap-connect-link"><s>#1105</s></a> and has been up for removal since them.</p>
<p>Removing this mechanism is beneficial since the mechanism relied on <code>USES INCLUDE</code> headers which were used in inner loops and contained <code>CCTK_IsThornActive</code> call which would execute in each inner loop iteration (see meeting minutes <a data-is-external-link="true" href="http://lists.einsteintoolkit.org/pipermail/users/2013-December/003343.html" rel="nofollow">http://lists.einsteintoolkit.org/pipermail/users/2013-December/003343.html</a> for 2013-12-02).</p>
