<p>When requesting a walltime large than <code>maxwalltime</code> simfactory will automatically split up the requested walltime into <code>maxwalltime</code> (or smaller) chunks and submit a set of chained runs.</p>
<p>Right now, this does not seem to produce any diagnostic output to screen.</p>
<p>In <a href="https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/tickets/issues/2725/walltime-being-overwritten-to-24-hours" rel="nofollow" title="Walltime being overwritten to 24 hours" class="ap-connect-link"><s>#2725</s></a> <span class="ap-mention" data-atlassian-id="557058:1671c5c3-29cc-4e83-9850-a152d33a6235">@Steven R. Brandt</span> suggests that it should be more verbose when this happens.</p>
