<p>uploading only the new one should be sufficient. Maybe add a comment to <a href="https://bitbucket.org/einsteintoolkit/tickets/issues/2520/update-gauge-settings-in-tov-example-to-be" rel="nofollow" title="update gauge settings in TOV example to be more typical" class="ap-connect-link">#2520</a> that before you updated the parfile everything looked the same as before to document that the change observed is only due to the changed gauge.</p>
