I always wince when I see "ETK", since "toolkit" is one word, not two (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/toolkit?s=t).  I think ET is used much more frequently than ETK, and while this does conflict with the Einstein Telescope, hopefully it is clear from the context (just like it's clear that we're not talking about little brown men!)
