Hello Lorenzo,

I recall that I obtained something similar to what you are describing, when
attempting a regrinding for very small radii of the finest refinement level
(let's say a most refinement radius near 5.0).

I wasn't able to control precisely this setting and I concluded that it
could be related to the number of buffer/ghost zones that are required (of
course it also depends on the most refined resolution, though).

Adopting greater radii, instead, it seems that I could have better control.

I am sorry of not being of any more help and I wonder if someone could add
more.
