Hi SXS,

We are hiring an Assistant Teaching Professor Position in physics. This job
opening might be of interest to some members of SXS. While this is
primarily a teaching position, teaching professors can also advise graduate
student projects and carry out research. The position carries a 9-month
contract leaving extra time for (grant-funded) research activities. The
position is part of the Faculty Federation Union, so there are good job
security protections in place.

UMassD is also part of the recently established UMass-URI Gravity Research
Consortium (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://gravity.phy.umassd.edu/__;!!DZ3fjg!_sCIafb7oAqqC8Qz2X0fjj1K_c3uBja1EKc-K8_8JD4-fDNRE2qErjPwOdBa0IdAp_AZ885InyfOHnJT614RadE$ ) that includes 12 researchers
at URI and UMass Dartmouth, and 18 PhD students. At UMassD our group
includes Sarah Caudill, Scott Field, Bob Fisher, Gaurav Khanna
(URI/UMassD), and Vijay Varma.
