It turns out the issue was with my local XCode installation. I was on a beta version of XCode 15.x, which needed to be upgraded (and I then had to reinstall Macports).</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:courier new,monospace"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:courier new,monospace">One lingering issue: the linker that comes with XCode 15 has some different behavior that still messes up compilation.
