Right now all grid variables declared in interface.ccl in CarpetX always have storage turned on. To reduce memory footprint for codes (and just b/c this is the expected behaviour) CarpetX shoud support Cactus' CCTK_StorageIncrease and CCTK_StorageDecrease and STORAGE: foostatements.
