In today’s ET call, https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/Meeting_agenda#2021-04-29, the issue of adding presync parameters was discussed and it was decided to try adding:

Cactus::presync_mode = "mixed-error"

to all gallery parfiles.
