#1422: Subscribing to commit notifications for the ET should be made easier

Of the lists originally mentioned, almost all either now send to commits@einsteintoolkit.org or no longer exists. Kranc seems to be the exception. @Ian Hinder do you want to give this another try? Settings such as https://github.com/EinsteinToolkit/ExternalLibraries-MPI/settings/notifications should work for Kranc as well.
