Thank you Erik! That's good news. What happens if Carpet doesn't manage to enforce the properties after ten rounds? Does the simulation abort, or is a different kind of warning produced?GwynethOn Tue, Feb 21, 2017 at 12:04 AM, Erik Schnetter <schnetter@cct.lsu.edu> wrote:Disclaimer - University of Cape Town This e-mail is subject to UCT policies and e-mail disclaimer published on our website at http://www.uct.ac.za/about/polGwyneth
A refinement hierarchy needs to fulfil certain properties. These are enforced in a round-robin manner until a fixed point is reached. Carpet attempts to do so ten times, then gives up assuming there is an internal inconsistency. The message that a second round is necessary is harmless. This should not be a warning -- this should instead be an informational message only.

______________________________Hi All,
My BBH simulation produces warnings that look like this:
WARNING level 1 from host srvslshpc605.uct.ac.za process 8while executing schedule bin (none), routine (no thorn)::(no routine)in thorn CarpetRegrid2, file /opt/exp_soft/EinsteinToolkit/Cactus/configs/ET/build/Carpet Regrid2/regrid.cc:389: -> Could not enforce grid structure properties in this round, starting another round
Could anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it?
Thanks,
Gwyneth
