Thank you Erik! That's good news.

What happens if Carpet doesn't manage to enforce the properties after ten rounds? Does the simulation abort, or is a different kind of warning produced?

A refinement hierarchy needs to fulfil certain properties. These are enforced in a round-robin manner until a fixed point is reached. Carpet attempts to do so ten times, then gives up assuming there is an internal inconsistency. The message that a second round is necessary is harmless. This should not be a warning -- this should instead be an informational message only.

Hi All,

My BBH simulation produces warnings that look like this:

WARNING level 1 from host srvslshpc605.uct.ac.za process 8
while executing schedule bin (none), routine (no thorn)::(no routine)
  in thorn CarpetRegrid2, file /opt/exp_soft/EinsteinToolkit/Cactus/configs/ET/build/CarpetRegrid2/regrid.cc:389:
-> Could not enforce grid structure properties in this round, starting another round

Could anyone tell me what this means and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Gwyneth
