 Ok, I've implemented what I suggested in my last post, and it's available
 in the experimental branch on !GitHub. I've tested it with my test.th
 list, the ET_2010_11 branch of ET, and the two combined, and I'm not
 getting any errors.

 Please test the experimental version and let me know if you find any
 issues.
