Comment (by hinder):

 I wouldn't worry about this.  Typical machines have at least 4 cores per
 node, and I don't think any of the tests ask for more processes than this.
 We can still ask for as many OpenMP threads as we like, in order to test
 OpenMP.

 Cactus does not output the number of MPI processes used for the test, but
 Carpet does, to standard output ("There are XX processes in total").  It
 might be convenient to modify the test system to output the number of
 processes to its log file for each test as well.  Of course, this is going
 to break all the ad-hoc parsers because we are not using an extensible
 output format.
