 Let me restate the question then: is the current state of the scripts
 going to make the success rate of configuring ExternalLibraries without
 user intervention (and not fail in any of the machines in simfactory where
 we do provide explicit settings) higher than if we went back to the state
 of the last release? If not then we should go back to the state of the
 last release since then at least we get a known bad thing rather than an
 unknown bad thing. Basically I don't want to make things worse than before
 (obviously) but also do not want to make them only a little bit better but
 introduce larger, mostly non-battle tested scripts.
