#1769: External libraries: moving towards multiarch library directory structure
------------------------------------+---------------------------------------
Reporter: bmundim | Owner:
Type: defect | Status: reopened
Priority: major | Milestone: ET_2016_05
Component: EinsteinToolkit thorn | Version: development version
Resolution: | Keywords: ExternalLibraries HDF5 Multiarch
------------------------------------+---------------------------------------
Comment (by knarf):
Until we test on all machines we don't know, and we only do this in a
coordinated fashion before a release. Instead of reverting a lot of
unrelated changed, we could revert only disabling looking in multi-arch
directories. This should fix it on the old Ubuntu - the only machine we
know of where this was reported.
Also, since the ET does not contain any HDF5 Fortran code, the current
problem was not "battle" tested anyway. We only have this problem if users
happen to have HDF5 Fortran code around, and because of that explicitly
enable it, which by itself is already a diversion from the option lists in
simfactoy you mention.
