#2407: Cactus math work-arounds break CarpetX reduction operators
Reporter: Erik Schnetter
Status: open
Milestone:
Version:
Type: bug
Priority: major
Component: Cactus
Comment (by Roland Haas):
Applied as git hash [0721ab29](https://bitbucket.org/cactuscode/cactus/commits/0721ab29f323a39d35d0cd6fba406ab836f0c4a1) "Remove C\+\+ math work-arounds" of [cactus](https://bitbucket.org/cactuscode/cactus)
Applied as git hash [f85f1350](https://bitbucket.org/eschnett/carpet/commits/f85f13503ba8358da84e3cda8f389d31fbb04e6f) "Carpet: Adapt math functions to recent flesh changes" of [carpet](https://bitbucket.org/eschnett/carpet)
Let’s see if anything breaks until the next release. In that case we can add a configure time check \(similar to the one outlined above\) and re-activate the workarounds when needed \(which won’t be on any system where CarpetX can be compiled\).
