To summarize the file output differences: 
Carpet text output was either per variable or per group `.asc` ASCII files. 

CarpetX text output currently is only per group `.tsv` TSV files. 

CarpetX only appends the output to the `norms/` files, all other output files (scalars, GFs, Arrays) get their own file per group per iteration (per axis where applicable).

Lastly, the headers have changed, the CarpetX headers are a single line, as opposed to the multi-line Carpet headers.
