Hi

Please consider joining the weekly Einstein Toolkit phone call at
10 am US central time on Mondays. As usual, you can find instructions

The main topic will be the organization of the next ET release. In
particular, this means we will discuss:

- Release-relevant tickets (21) [1]
- Schedule:
  - soft freeze date of May 14th (evening)
    - no additions (thorns ect.), major changes, new features
  - hard freeze date of May 21th
    - only 'important' bug fixes or documentation improvements
                ^--> to be decided by two maintainers
  - release date of May 28th.
  
Not necessarily connected to the release:

- Bug reports: quite a lot happened during last week: 41 issue were opened or
  changed and are still open, and 19 tickets could be closed. Some of them
  were:
  - Cactus now has timers for each I/O method
  - Some parameter expressions can now be used within parameter files,
    however, this makes the ordering of parameter files important (is
    used)
  - Some thorns received patches to allow different sizes for CCTK_REAL,
    ect.
