[Users] McLachlan, UseSpatialBetaDriver

[Erik Schnetter]

I notice there is a parameter UseSpatialBetaDriver in McLachlan. This
parameter's value is never accessed.

(1) Is this intentional, or is there some important functionality missing?
(2) Can we remove this parameter, or would this break people's parameter
files?
