Present were: Frank, Peter, Steve, Philipp, Yosef, Tanja, Vassilis, Ian

ET release:
* two failing tests, Misner for AHFinderDirect and slowsector for
GRHydro, various Exact based tests
* create tickets for failing tests
* check that we have EinsteinExact versions of all failing Exact ones
* Roland to look into slowsector failures

* collect changes since release, in particular for simfactory on datura
and create new point release and tags once done

New thorns:
* Yosef will put his ParitySymmetry thorn into incoming
* either use it or consider appending RotatingSymmetry180 (if changes
are small, patch is available, ticket for this:
https://trac.einsteintoolkit.org/ticket/1266)
* there was a suggestion to merge all symmetry thorns into one to
possibly reduce code duplication, it seems however that the amount of
duplicated code is small and the amount of work required to describe all
symmetries consistently in one thorn is significant

Version control system:
* suggestion to move code repositories (excepting ExternalLibraries)
from svn to git
** git offers better GUIs
** git offers easier branch management (eg one can create a branch and
refer to it in a ticket)
** git offers better merge handling
** git keeps full history which might be large in case of frequent
changes to large files (eg test data)
* will send an email with intention to change to mailing lists
* nothing will happen in the next month due to travel and CCT moving
buildings

Carpet changes:
* Erik has a set of changes to Carpet that he will push
* do NOT use for production runs yet

Misc:
* Erik to host the calls for the next month
* Erik to write reminders for the next month
* Roland will send Erik reminders to send the reminders :-)

Developer's workshop:
* after CGWAS, July 27th-29th (Sat-Mon), wiki page has information:
https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/ET_Workshop_Summer_2013
* currently listed participants: Caltech, Frank, Steve, Peter, Josh, Erik
* topics: TBD please think of some by next week
* suggested topics: Refluxing, A-field MHD (although we'd rather have
that one done by then)
* will be in Caltech conference room used for scheduler workshop, should
offer H323 call-in and conferencing

Yours,
Roland
