I have been following the simfactory discussion and am uncertain where
the current software applies to someone in my position.
My system is a dual pentium 4 at 3Ghz running mint 16.

In order to point to a specific item, what is the current simfactory in
terms of 1. stable 2. devel trees when running say the Gowdy.par
simulation.

I hope that pointing to a specific par file may help others in this line
of inquiry
