When you compile LORENE, Cactus does create a local_settings file for 
you, and should include the necessary paths. If that is not quite 
working, it is a bug. I do see in there, e.g.,:

> LIB_LAPACK = ${LAPACK_LIBS} ${BLAS_LIBS}

and LDFLAGS are added in several places.
