Dear all,

please consider joining the next "Cosmology and Particles" working group call on Monday, 1 October 2018, at 4:30pm (BST, i.e. UK/Portugal) / 5:30pm (CDT).
You can attend the meeting via the google hangout:

Isa will lead a discussion on "Take care when solving constraints..." (see a short description below).
If you have any suggestions for topics to be discussed in the meeting, please add them to the meeting agenda: https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/Cosmology_and_Particle
<https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/Cosmology_and_Particles>
or reply to this email.

Best wishes,
Helvi

Information:
"Take care when solving constraints..."
I will comment about the differences between constraint vs free evolution formulations, and the necessity in any case of solving constraint equations for generating initial data. There are some potential problems arising to take into account in the numerical resolution. I will try to give a basic idea and to let the other people to start a real discussion.

We don't have a dedicated topic this time, but will have a Q&A session and should discuss future directions of the working group. If you have any suggestions for topics to be discussed in the meeting, please add them to the meeting agenda: https://docs.einsteintoolkit.org/et-docs/Cosmology_and_Particles
