CarpetX developer mailing list
by Roland Haas 12 Apr '23

12 Apr '23

Hello Lucas, Johnny, Luciano, Leo, Swapnil, The CarpetX developer mailing list is at: http://lists.einsteintoolkit.org/mailman/listinfo/carpetx-developers That I mentioned in today's CarpetX call would be nice if all CarpetX developers (and early users) could join (to simplify reaching out to all). Gitter / Matrix should also work to reach out to all and only requires a GitHub account: https://app.gitter.im/#/room/#EinsteinToolkit_CarpetX:gitter.im Though you should wait until tomorrow to sign up since there will be (should be actually) downtime due to maintenance today and thus registrations today may get lost. Yours, Roland -- My email is as private as my paper mail. I therefore support encrypting and signing email messages. Get my PGP key from http://pgp.mit.edu .

index tag in CarpetX retired, use centering instead
by Roland Haas 20 Mar '23

20 Mar '23

Hello all, Erik says (https://matrix.to/#/!HoIBwnKWYchfkTrElo:gitter.im/$Bj33qc79G15KwmEnk7MwY4de…): Announcement: I have removed support for defining grid function centering via index tags for grid functions. This did not work correctly any more (since the flesh does not look at these tags), and there is now a better way via centering declarations. Please update your thorns. CarpetX will otherwise produce a run-time error. Yours, Roland -- My email is as private as my paper mail. I therefore support encrypting and signing email messages. Get my PGP key from http://pgp.mit.edu .
