 Since this is only supposed to catch errors, and since (presumably) this
 will only be a problem during transition, we can use a less official
 mechanism -- something that provides a clear error message suffices.

 For example, we can add a particular #define to the flesh
 (CCTK_HAVE_SCHEDULE_READS_WRITES), and check this in a thorn, outputting
 an #error if the flesh is too old. This will give a clear, concise error
 message.
