Hey everyone, I remember a few people talking about stackexchange website for us to more effectively manage getting questions answered. If anyone else hasn't already started the process of making one, I would be willing to create it and pass all of the credentials to the maintainers.
I've had a lot of great experience with stack overflow, and I think it will allow many of the toolkit's more difficult and obscure nuances to be much more well documented. Very useful for newcomers, and it's pretty intuitive.
Thanks again for putting on a great workshop.

Grayson- I think this would be great. I looked into stackexchange yesterday after talking with you. It appears we have to have a critical mass of interested people (on the order of hundreds) for stackexchange to consider hosting us. See the list of proposed stackexchange sites here http://area51.stackexchange.com/. Is there some way to host ourselves? Cheers. -Brett

Concerning hosting our own: that doesn't seem to be possible using the stack exchange engine. However, there are also alternatives, e.g. (just picked one more or less randomly): http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qa/. Hosting something (freely available) is not a big problem, and we even have a wordpress install already.
So I am asking: is the concept of stack exchange what draws people or 'just' the concept, and a similar tool would do as well?
Thanks again for putting on a great workshop.
Thanks to all participants to have been such a wonderful, talkative, interactive, critically thinking, hard working crowd of people!

Hi Frank, Grayson, all,
ask.ligo.org (LSC credentials needed, sorry...) is running on http://www.osqa.net/. It's been working well and people in the collaboration seem to like it.
Cheers,
- Larne
