Before this patch, no Gamma speed limit was imposed and only superluminal velocities would be corrected. This patch brings the behavior of this routine into consistency with the conserv_to_prims routines, where the maximum allowed relativistic Gamma factor is GAMMA_SPEED_LIMIT.
